Headache is only a symptom, not a disease. There are many reasons for this, such as from ordinary anxiety to lethal brain tumor. The description of more than 100 reasons for this is not possible here, but the reasons for this are mentioned in the following groups:

Reason of headache in internal carotid artery -

πŸ‘‰ Brain disorders - Tumor, boils, meningitis and cerebral palsy;
πŸ‘‰Tannicular diseases - tonsotitis, tumor, cyst, and haematoma (hematoma)
πŸ‘‰Diseases of blood vessels - Hemorrhoids, blood clots, thrombosis and blood vessel circulation (aneurism), arterial sclerosis etc.

Reason of headache in external carotid artery -

πŸ‘‰Cervical tuberculosis, muscular arthritis and tertiary analogy;
πŸ‘‰Eyeballtermoma, abscess, glauscoma, eye shingles, and weakness of vision;
πŸ‘‰Dental diseases - boils and osteoporosis, Cervical boils, tumors and inflammation;
πŸ‘‰Ontology - boils and edema;

Poisonous headache -

πŸ‘‰Exogenous toxin-toxic gas, closed-room environment, gas of gas, coal gas, chloroform, ether and medicines, such as quinine, aspirin, opium, tobacco, alcohol, excessive vitamin D, lead poison, food poison and allergy;
πŸ‘‰Endogenous toxin: Blood cell poisoning, blood poisoning, diabetes, arthritis, constipation, indigestion, liver disease, malaria, typhoid, typhus influenza, boils, fungus and carbuncle.

The causative cause of the headache -

  1. High blood pressure - Arterial sclerosis and kidney disease;

  11. Nerve colic
  12. Menopause
  13. Head injury and
  14. Migraine (semi-head: pain).

There are many assumptions about the origin of the herpes. The brain is not sensitive for its own injury, but the membranes or tannins around it are extremely sensitive. It produces pain due to any irritation, such as inflammation, stretch, tension, deformity or dispersion. The pain caused by excessive stress of the eye and crotch muscles.

Types of headache

Headache can be of several types:
  1. Dizziness is due to inflammation of the scalp. This pain increases by moving the head, bending, coughing, hard work, sexual stimulation, alcoholism, apprehension, rheumodharma etc.
  2. Vibration is caused due to the absence of excessive stomach or dilation of the artery inside the crotch. This reduces the pain of lying and increases by walking.
  3. Impulsive - due to neuralgia, impaired pain. This pain comes from shock and goes away.
  4. Rhythmic - This kind of pain is caused by the spread of the artery of the brain, arteriosclerosis and superstructural stress.
  5. Penetrative - Hysteria knows as if someone is piercing a crotch.
  6. Constant - This is caused by tumor, syst, blood vessels and tonsillitis.

Headache on the basis of the location, time, type and other symptoms and signs of the limbs: Diagnosis of the cause of pain or disease is diagnosed.

Typically the headaches are of four types:
  1. Migraine,
  2. Tension headache (stretch in the muscles),
  3. Tumor headache and
  4. Sinus headache

Prevention from headache

  1. Take a lot of sleep: Take at least 6-8 hours of sleep at night and sleep - try to keep the waking schedules uniform.
  2. Do not take tension: Instead of taking the tension of being in the forefront of life, put a habit of living normally with competitiveness and support Yoga, Meditation, Hobby classes, games etc. to reduce tension.
  3. Exercise: The role of exercise in the prevention of headache is very important, because it causes endorphin in the body, which acts as a natural painkiller for the body.
  4. Avoid smoking and alcohol: smoking affects blood vessels and blood circulation, so that blood circulation in the muscles is not done properly and there is a strong headache. Take alcohol low. Also, to avoid dehydration, drink plenty of water after drinking.
  5. Liquid is important: There is also a lot of headache due to dehydration. Minor headache can be stopped by taking plenty of water and other healthy liquids.

  7. Eat Good: The chemistry of the brain is affected by what you eat and it can also change the size of the blood vessels. Not only this, some foods may also be allergic to some special foods, which can cause headaches
  8. Avoid taking too much caffeine: To avoid stress of work, people drink more tea, coffee etc., which contain caffeine. Taking excess caffeine increases the risk of headache.
  9. Do not eat too much medicine: Take a painkiller can also be a cause for headache, because even after having a little pain, taking the painkiller gets the habit of the body. Thyroid [causes to treatment]

Thyroid [causes to treatment]

Thyroid
Thyroid

Thyroid meaning

Thyroid is the name of a gland located in the throat. It is present in the front of the neck of the neck and its shape is like a butterfly. It works to control many types of body metabolic processes.

What are thyroid problems?

Hormones produced from thyroid gland affect all metabolic processes in the body. The most common reason of thyroid  is that the right amount of thyroid hormones is not produced.

There are two types of problems-

Hyperthyroidism: More Hormones production

Hypothyroidism: Production of Less Hormones

There can be many problems due to these, but if treated properly and diagnosed properly, they can be managed well.

Hyperthyroidism (Overactive Thyroid)

Many times doctors call Hyperthyroidism as overactive thyroid.
Hormones from thyroid gland affect almost all parts of the body, skin, brain, muscles, nothing is untouched by it. The most important thing is to control the energy being used by the body, which we know as metabolism. How heart beats, how the body temperature controls and how we burn our calories. These are the process of metabolism.
Women are 5 to 10 times more likely to have hyperthyroidism than men.[1]

Causes of Hyperthyroidism

Graves disease

This is the most common cause of hyperthyroidism. This is a kind of autoimmune condition in which our body's immune system creates an antibody which causes the Thyroid Gland to release Thyroid hormone more. If a single person in this family is suffering from this disease then more people can also have problems. Generally, these problems occur to young people.

Thyroiditis

Thyroid swelling is called thyroiditis. Thyroiditis causes swelling in thyroid glands due to problems in a virus or immune system, and it starts to leak hormone in bloodstream.

Thyroiditis can be of several types:

Subaccute

Thyroiditis, which occurs suddenly due to an unknown reason, which cures itself after a few months.

Postpartum

This type of thyroiditis affects women after pregnancy. After childbirth, 1-2 out of 10 women get this problem. Typically this problem persists for a month or two and after a few months the problem of hypothyroidism arises. But the good thing is that after some time thyroid becomes normal in most cases.
Silent

It is like the postpartum thyrodytic but it has nothing to do with pregnancy.

Thyroid nodule

In this problem, one or more lumps or nodes grow in Thyroid Gland, which increases the activity of the gland and increases thyroid hormone release in your blood.

Excess iodine

If you consume more iodine only then the problem of hyperthyroidism can arise.
Indeed, our body uses iodine to make thyroid hormone and when it starts getting more in it then the hormone also becomes more and it becomes problematic.

Thyroid Medications

More than taking thyroid hormone medication can also lead to hyperthyroidism. If your hypothyroidism is undergoing treatment, do not take extra dose of medicine without asking any doctor, even if you have previously forgotten to medicate.

Hyperthyroid Symptoms

Often symptoms of hyperthyroidism are not very clear and they are similar to other diseases. If you have a very mild form of hyperthyroidism then it is possible that you will not see any symptoms. But when this problem occurs then you have problems in doing things like Rosa-Marra.

In most patients of hyperthyroidism, Thyroid becomes bigger, which is also called girth or goitre. In this way, you may see or feel a lump in the next part of the throat.

Apart from this, these symptoms of hyperthyroidism can be:

  1. Anxiety, nervousness and irritability
  2. Weight loss despite the increase in appetite
  3. Increasing frequency of bowel movements and loose stomach
  4. Difficulty in sleep
  5. Dual sight problem
  6. Eyes out
  7. Hair Problems such as rupture, thinning, and falling
  8. Being irregular to heart beat, especially in older people
  9. Changes in menstrual cycle, including decreasing the frequency of light bleeding and frequency of the periods.
  10. Muscle weakness, especially in thighs and upper arms
  11. Fingers of nails grow rapidly
  12. Vibrations of hands
  13. To sweat
  14. Skinny skin

Hyperthyroidism Diagnosis (Hyperthyroidism tests)

It can be checked by following tests
  1. Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) Blood test
  2. Thyroid ultrasound
  3. Radioactive iodine uptake test
  4. Thyroid scan

Hyperthyroidism Treatment

Treatment of hyperthyroidism is done by looking at the real cause of your age, health, severity of symptoms and overactive thyroid.

The doctor can give you treatment in these ways:

Anti-thyroid drugs

In it, drugs like propylthiouracil (PTU) and methimazole (Tapazole) are given, which prevents the thyroid gland from producing new hormones. However, this may have some side effects.

Radioactive iodine (RAI) radioactive treatment by iodine

This is the most common way to teat hypothyroidism in America. In this patient is given RAI as a drug pill, which reduces the process of formation of thyroid hormone or completely stops. The person may have hypothyroidism in side effects of this treatment, but should not be disturbed because it is easier to control hypothyroidism than hyperthyroidism. This treatment can not be given to pregnant women.

Treatment by surgery

To complete some part of the thyroid or thyroid by surgery, which is called thyroidectomy. In this method, the person has to treat the rest of the life underactive thyroid.

Beta-blockers

They are used to reduce heart rate. The levels of thyroid hormone do not decrease, but the heart rate gets corrected.
Complications arising due to hyperthyroidism
It is very important to treat proper hyperthyroidism. If not doing this, serious and deadly problems can arise.

The main complications associated with hyperthyroidism are:

  1. Irregular heart rhythm (atrial fibrillation) irregular heart rate
  2. Heart failure
  3. Abortion
  4. Osteoporosis and breakdown of bones (due to hyperthyroidism, calcium is rapidly eliminated from the bones)
  5. Rapid deterioration of hyperthyroidism syndrome is called Thyrotoxic crisis and it is very important to treat it immediately.

It may have the following symptoms:

  1. Faint
  2. Be confused
  3. Decrease in awareness
  4. A fever
  5. Restlessness
  6. Pulsation

What do you eat in hyperthyroidism?

Strawberries, Blueberries and Raspberry

Berries are such fruits which contain a large number of antioxidants, which strengthen our immune system. Therefore, they must be consumed.

Vitamin D and Omega-3s for Thyroid

Earlier no direct link was found between vitamin D and thyroid, but one study found that vitamin D levels were significantly lower in hypothyroid patients. That is why doctors now advise to take vitamin D when thyroid is present.
You can take these things to get Vitamin D-
πŸ‘‰ Salmon (a kind of fish) - This gives you the dose of Omega-3 fatty acids along with vitamin D which keeps you healthy.
πŸ‘‰ The eggs
πŸ‘‰ Mushroom
πŸ‘‰ For omega 3 you can use walnuts, olive oil and flaxseed.
πŸ‘‰ Protein rich diet

Weight loss due to hyperthyroidism is a common problem, so taking adequate protein can ensure that your weight is correct.
For this, you can eat these things-
  1. Meat, mutton, chicken
  2. Dal, gram, soybean
  3. Beans and nuts

Green vegetables or their juice

Nutrient green vegetables or their juice reduce thyroid function. Therefore you should take cabbage, spinach, etc. in the form of a vegetable or juice.

Food containing zinc

Zinc is an important element for body functions. Due to hyperthyroidism, your body may be deficient in it. So you should include these things in your diet
  1. Cereals, bran, multigrain cereals
  2. Wheat gooseberry
  3. Spinach, pumpkin seeds
  4. Pomegranate, Avocado
  5. Soybean
  6. Fish, chicken
  7. Crab, lobster

Do not Eat in Hyperthyroidism

Iodine Diet

Do not eat in hyperthyroidism as we know iodine raises the activity of thyroid gland in hyperthyroidism, so it is important that we consume foods that have high amounts of iodine. Such as-
  1. Iodized salt
  2. Sea foods such as - celery (seaweed), seaweeds, etc.
  3. Cranberry
  4. Organic curd,
  5. Organic strawberry
  6. Organic cheese
  7. Organic potatoes

Foods That Allergize You

If you eat something that is allergic to you, then it can make your hyperthyroidism symptoms worse. You may have difficulty breathing, skin rashes, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. If you are suspected of food allergies, you may have some suspected food items such as dairy products, corn, soya, wheat gluten, artificial food additives.

Whenever you separate a food item from your diet, keep in mind that the nutrients you get from them conjugate in other ways.

For example: If you do not take dairy products, your body may lack calcium, so you should take fortified rice, almond milk and seafood. Instead of the same glitter, you can take gluten-free starchies, gluten-furty oatmeal, brown rice and sweet potatoes.

High glycemic carbs

Thyroid disorder can affect your carbohydrate metabolism and sugar control. But, since carbohydrates are the source of your energy, you can not carelessly with them. But to keep the right liner of your blood sugar, you can do the limits of high-glycemic sources.

So you should eat less flour, white bread, potatoes, sugar, rice, etc. Instead you can eat barley, porridge, brown bread, whole-grain pasta, and lentils.

  1. Coffee
  2. Tea
  3. cold drink
  4. Chocolate

Dairy Products

Hyperthyroidism is not good for full cream milk. Milk and other dairy products have different growth hormones and pencil traces, which put additional pressure on the human hormonal system. Along with milk and other dairy products, a type of protein casein is also found which makes the digestion process difficult. Therefore, most patients of hyperthyroidism are advised to reduce the intake of milk, yogurt, etc.

However, it is also a fact that there are many benefits of dairy products, so it is important to take advice from the doctor so how much they have to eat or not.

Red Meat

Red meat such as a park, beef, lamb, in which the amount of cholesterol or saturated fat is very high, should be eat less. Doing this reduces the symptoms of hyperthyroidism in your heart and due to hyperthyroidism, swelling of the throat is also less.

Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil

Hydrogenated vegetable oil is used in many commercially prepared food items. These contain trance fat which damages the good cholestrol and make the symptoms of hyperthyroidism worse. Therefore, minimize consumption of cookies sold in the market, donuts, margarine, pie crusts, etc.

Alcohol

By drinking alcohol, the body's energy level is disturbed, thereby increasing the problem of sleep associated with hyperthyroidism. Also, patients with hyperthyroidism also increase the risk of osteoporosis due to this. So leave the liquor completely or limit it to plenty.

Hypothyroidism (Underactive Thyroid)

Hypothyroidism is also called as underactive thyroid. The thyroid gland of the person with this disease does not produce proper amount of thyroid hormone. If the hormone is reduced in the body then the process of the body is slowed. That is, the body produces less energy and our metabolism becomes slow.

These can be of two types:

πŸ‘‰If Hypothyroidism is caused by a problem in direct thyroid gland, then it is called Primary Hypothyroidism.
πŸ‘‰ If any other problem is impaired due to thyroid gland's ability to produce thyroid hormone, it is called Secondary Hypothyroidism.

Reasons for Hypothyroidism

The most common cause of Hypothyroidism is Hashimoto's thyroiditis. This is a kind of autoimmune disorder that causes swelling in thyroid glands. On the occurrence of hemichotozy thyroiditis, the body produces some antibodies that attack and destroy thyroid gland. Thyroiditis may also be caused by viral infection.

Other causes of Hypothyroidism are as follows:

1. Radiation therapy around the throat: which can be given during the treatment of cancer.

2. Radioactive iodine treatment: If RAI is used in the treatment of overactive thyroid gland, then thyroid gland cells are destroyed due to radiation and become hypothyroidism.

3. Due to certain medicines: Some medicines such as -amiodarone (Cordarone), lithium, interferon alpha, and interleukin-2 to treat heart, cancer and psychiatric problems; Thyroid reduces or stops production of hormones, thus the problem of hypothyroidism begins.
4. Thyroid Surgery: If a thyroid gland is removed in any treatment, for example: to treat hyperthyroidism then the person becomes hypothyroidism.

5. Iodine deficiency[2] in food: Our body does not make iodine itself, so we should take it in the food. For this iodized salt, eggs, fish and dairy products should be consumed.

6. Pregnancy: Many women increase the production of thyroid hormone in the first place after pregnancy, so that they become hyperthyroidism first and later the production falls due to hypothyroidism. In most cases, this problem is automatically lost in a few months.

7. Thyroid disease from birth: In some children thyroid gland can not be developed properly or does not work properly from birth. This condition is called congenital hypothyroidism.

8. Disease in Pituitary gland: It is very rare, but sometimes the problem of pituitary gland causes the production of thyroid hormone to be disturbed. Actually, pituitary gland creates thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), which tells thyroid how much it is to make and release the hormone.

9. Hypothalamus disorder: It is also very rarely, in which it does not produce hypothalamus TRH hormone present in the brain, causing Pituitary gland TSH hormone to be affected and ultimately the production of thyroid hormone is disturbed.

Who is at risk of hypothyroidism?

Most of these problems are women, especially women of higher age. Even if someone in your home has autoimmune disease, you may still suffer from hypothyroidism.

Some other risk factors are:

  1. Species (being white or Asian)
  2. Age (older)
  3. Gray hair
  4. Autoimmune disorders such as: type 1 diabetes, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, celiac disease, addison's disease, pernicious anemia, or vitiligo
  5. Bipolar disorder
  6. Down syndrome
  7. Turner syndrome

  1. Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH)
  2. T4 (thyroxine)
  3. Thyroid ultrasound
  4. Thyroid scan

Hypothyroidism Treatment

For the treatment of hypothyroidism, you can have synthetic (man-made) thyroid hormone T4 prescribe. Which you can take as a tablet. Keep in mind that before taking this, you should tell the doctor about the remaining medicines or food-supplements and diet.

Once this disease has occurred, you have to periodically investigate the blood for thyroid hormone level and have to take medicines according to the existing hormone level.

  2. Infertility
  3. Joint pain
  4. Obesity
  5. In pregnant women this problem can interfere with the development of the infant. In the first months of pregnancy the child receives thyroid hormone from his mother and if the mother has this problem then the problem of baby's mental development can be difficult.
  6. If thyroid hormone levels are very low, then the person may be the most formidable form myxedema of hypothyroidism. In this condition, the person can go into a coma or the temperature of his body may fall very low, which can lead to death.

What to eat in Hypothyoride

The following nutrients are important

Iodine:

πŸ‘‰ Hypothyoride is mainly caused by iodine defeciency[3]
πŸ‘‰ Developed countries like united states use iodized table salt in their foods to avoid iodine deficiency [4]
πŸ‘‰ Remenber the required amount of iodine you can get from your food only take prescribed dose of iodine supplements because some studies resulted that excess amount of iodine intake can damage thyroid gland [5]

Selenium:

πŸ‘‰Selenium helps body to activate thyroid hormones which is further used by body[6]
πŸ‘‰ The antioxidant benefits of selenium protect thyroid gland from free radicals.
πŸ‘‰Remember take selenium supplements as per the recommendation of your doctor as selenium can be toxic in excess dose. [7 , 8]

Zinc:

πŸ‘‰ Zinc also work like selenium in activating thyroid hormones [9]
πŸ‘‰ As per the study zinc also help the body to regulate TSH [10]
πŸ‘‰It is recommended to eat more zinc-rich foods in hypothyroidism.

What to avoid in Hypothyroidism

Goitrogens

πŸ‘‰ Goitrogens interrupts the normal function of the thyroid gland..πŸ‘‰Goitrogens named after 'goiter'. goiter is a term of hypothyroidism in which thyroid gland will be enlarged.[11]
there are many foods which contains goitrogens. [12].
πŸ‘‰ These are cabbage, broccoli, kale, cauliflower, spinach, tofu, tempeh, edamame, sweet potatoes, cassava, peeches, strawberries, millet, pine nuts, peanuts etc

So in principle, individuals with hypothyroidism ought to stay away from goitrogens. Be that as it may, this just is by all accounts an issue for individuals who have an iodine inadequacy or eat a lot of goitrogens [13] [14] [15] [16]

"Likewise, cooking sustenances with goitrogens may "inactivate" the goitrogenic substances "[17]

"One exemption to the above sustenances is pearl millet. A few examinations have discovered that pearl millet may meddle with thyroid capacity, regardless of whether you don't have lack of iodine" [18]
